72 GS 4-speed 4G37K2Z122418. Met blue, black bucket interior, A/C, 15" rally wheels. Built non original 350,T/A intake, headers Holly 650, 3:73 posi. This is my Son's car. I found it for him 10 years ago and it was beautiful back then. He insisted it be better. Small bubbles behind the rear wheel well? That wouldn't suit him-the rear quarters from the door back were completely and professionally replaced. What was once a super clean car became a no-bondo show car. I have owned and showed GSs for 30 years and know originals from "foo-foo" jobs. I kept this project from straying into wild territory; insisting on solid original work: money was spent on re-building the 4-speed and setting up the 10 bolt posi correctly. Interior was kept all original (resisting wild custom jobs) and is perfect. OK,the engine was his project. It's a GS 350, but at least I got him to stick with a Buick 350 engine, using the suggestions from the GSCA to build a ground-thumping, aluminum-dressed engine, cooled by a monster all aluminum 4 core radiator w/ electric fan. It's topped with a aluminum high-rise T/A intake and open element 360 chrome air cleaner. The only thing this car needs is tires. You'll go through lots of them, as the power is staggering for a 350. This car was built for a lifetime, and no short-cuts were taken in its restoration. Unfortunately, his financial troubles mean it must go. Since I'm the Buick GodFather of the family, I'm responsible for selling it. I'm not really computor-saavy, so interested parties will be sent photos via his friend's computor. But rest assured, I've been burned buying these cars and driving all day to look at garbage misrepresented as "mint". I can honestly say any Buick guy could come to Syracuse NY from anywhere in the country and not feel it wasn't worth the trip. This sale was just sprung on me and I'll have to look over the car carefully this weekend to describe any minor flaws better. My Son lives in the next town over. Thanks to those who PM'd me. Digital pics will be taken today and sent this evening. My Son's friend will be drafted away from Christmas shopping to accomplish this. I forgot to add that he wanted spoilers on this car. There sure are some ugly ones available, but I steered him towards GSX spoilers; front and rear. They were added before the paint job,so they look "factory".
