i have power, tach works...car is air conditioned, just couldn’t see a wire to tap into for the dash lights when you turn on your park lights or headlights to light up the tach.
    Any ideas?

It’s been a bit but I seem to remember on my ‘72 I used an in-line splice & connected to the ashtray light wire. Light grey I believe.

I had a decent amount of wire on the drivers side of the radio.

That’s almost exactly the way I mounted mine.

I put mine a bit lower to see my fuel gauge & idiot lights. What did you use to attach the tach to the column? I used a worm clamp.

I used a worm clamp as well. Don’t think I can mount lower due to the tilt steering column lever.

Very very easy fit into the clock spot by the way.

I.put mine right where the clock is.....not the best picture as I had to clip it from a video..........and yes that is 75psi at 1000 rpm

But I too have a tach with clamp on column

I found the ashtray light grey wire and applied a splice. All working. Now back to governor modifications. Thanks everyone
