Hello all I now starting the resoration on the body of my 1972 limited. I would like to know does anyone know what gauge steel are these cars made from, I can't seem to find a steel gauge anywhere here in town. I'm thinking a 18 or 16 guage but I would like to know asap, as I would like to get started on this part of my project tomorrow. thanks much fatboybuick
Thanks for the info, I am going to start on the trunk of my 1970 electra in July and will have to patch some areas in the trunk. A replacement floor section would be nice but nothing is available for this car.
