'72 skylark 8.5" rear - near Tampa, FL area

Interested in picking up a complete stock '72 8.5" rear for rebuild - Can pick up if within reasonable distance from Tampa area. Would also consider a rear already redone and ready to install if suitable for my use (3.08 - 3.23 posi, new axle bearings, etc)... Bare housing with backing plates intact might also work if if no warp or flange gouging ..

Your 72 cars should already have the 8.5" rears. Let me know. I may know of one.

It does have an 8.5 but I figure it's easier to have one built outside the car and ready to go so I can just sub it in without downtime.. My garage space is at a premium unfortunately...

And I still owe you some club $$ - blame the wife, keeper of the checkbook...

If you can wait a few days, you can have yours rebuilt. Contact AGW in Clearwater 784-0452. They build all of my rear axles. Usually takes a day or two, so you can remove yours during the week and have it done by the weekend.
