    Hey all

Qwik question. What are some things I can do to reduce the weight of my car and maintain its streetability?

Depends on what you're willing to give up.

I can't think of any DOT laws that say passenger or back seats are needed to be legal, only that passengers must be in a seat and belted in.

Radio, speakers, heater, carpet, jute padding, package tray, power steering, power brakes, steel wheels, steel driveshaft, 20 gallon gas tank, spare tire, car jack, tire irons...I don't think you have to have any of those things to be legal.

Lightweight pieces can replace steel wheels and steel driveshafts and the like.

A love of one's own voice and a healthy disregard for other's feelings means you can sing to yourself instead of listening to the radio
