Can anybody tell me if there is a rebuild kit for these or if I can get one that is already rebuilt and ready to install? Cause Yearone and OPG doesn't.

    Thanks,

I bought a rebuilt pump for one of my 72's from Napa, part # PS140. This is the pump only, no reservoir. They may also be available with a reservoir, but they are easy to change out if yours is good.

Zip Products a Corvette supplier sells rebuild kits. You just hae to figure out which year works with yours. I think most GM's were the same design.

    powerstearing pump

    Thanks Guys,
I wanted to replace both the powerstearing pump and the gearbox cause this car was snapping the fan belt for the pump, brand new belt, the second one is just streached with no more adjustment left. When I got this car 2 years ago the motor was gone along with the powerstearing pump and the gearbox had the lines removed, with a couple of small pcs of tape over the holes  I had gotten the pump from a junk yard and it still had oil in it, so I thought it was ok, everything seem to work fine up to about two weeks ago when the belt snapped in two. I replaced the gearbox over this past weekend and a big difference in stearing but I still want to replace the pump, so thanks again for the quick reply,
    Chip :beer
