72 GS Stage 1 4-Speed Thanks Chris, I couldn't wait to take it out. Started right up and what a kick in the pants to drive!!! Are you buying Scott's GSX. Re: 72 GS Stage 1 4-Speed Yep, I bought it! Guess you and I are in the same club, both of us have bought Stage 1 4 speed's from Mr. Miller! I made arrangements with Scott to buy it once it was finished, back in December. I drove it Monday night and the shifter wouldn't go into third without a lot of work, so Scott said he would check it out. He emailed me tuesday and said he had swapped out shifters, problem solved. I went out Thursday for another drive and brought it home that night, and Scott even through in both shifters and dropped the purchase price by more than enough to rebuild the first one (and rebuild the hood tach, if necessary). Today the rain stopped for long enough for me to wash it (it was raining Thursday night when I brought it home) and I started with the clay bar tonight to make it silky smooth! Haven't had a chance to take it out and drive it on dry pavement yet, but I am sure the chance will come soon! :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:
