Nice car! 4 spd /power windows! But seems strange that the woodgrain was faded if it was in storage..... 19,000 or 119,000? Brice
I think these are things that shold have been included in the ad, don't you?? If it was me, the listing would have read:1972 Buick Skylark Gran Sport Stage 1 4-speed 1 of 101. I would have spent the $25.00 and had the car Sloan Documented AND included that in my listing. I also would have taken a few more pictures, cleaned the engine compartment up a little and "supersized" all the pics. Just my .02 cents...
So, just to clarify....this car was an original automatic car or is the 4 speed trans non numbers matching? Looks like an original 4 speed car from the pics. o No: Jason
Never mind....I mis read the last post! I mis read "origional" for "unoriginal". Goes to show you what sleep deprivation does to you.... Jason
Anybody here bidding Anybody on the site going to get serious on this car and if so I won't bid on it if not I will be interested in it and put in some bids just don't want to start bidding war with board member. Does he state the color code anywhere is it cortez gold(53) Thanks Bill
is wds455 a member here because it seems he bids on alot of Stage cars recently and must have varily deep pockets and a nice collection of cars ??? Bill
Im not sure how serious Im going to get on this one. Depends on how high the bidding goes. Seems like a nice car and its relatively close to me. If it goes over 12k count me out. Jason
Has anyone been able to get any additional info from the seller? I've emailed him twice looking for more info (like cowl tag info) and haven't heard anything yet. I'm looking for my first GS and this one looks nice, just don't want to get burned - never bought a car on ebay. Thanks. Frank
I asked him the same question, here is what he said: By the looks of the car underneath and the time it has been sitting, I would say 19K But I don't know how to tell for sure. Also, I have more pictures, anybody want to see them?
"When I bought the car I had it on a lift and checked underneath it for repairs and there was none. I put it on a lift again yesterday and there is no touch up or repair work done to it." Was there a concern that a few crazed Zeibart workers had made their way into the garage under cover of darkness sometime between 76' and now and made repairs?
