Well, I got outbid at $1,000,000. Notice the new approach "ignore all bids". The scammers defense against us slamming their bogus auctions with $99,000,000 bids.

I reported this guy and ALL his other auctions last week. Ebay removed ALL of them. Then all the guy does is relist them using another name. Scumbag.

If you look at the web address the photos are at, you can get into the guy's photo storage, and see that he's got pics saved of all sorts of cars in several countries even!

CHECK OUT THIS HE JUST EMAILED ME THIS........
    Hi,
First of all I want to thank you for your email, for your interest in my father's car, and I
want to apologize for my late reply. Second, sorry If I'm writing you a large email but I want
to be as exact and clear as anyone can be, because I want to make a fast and safe deal so we can both be satisfied, so I am asking you to read this email carefully. This car belonged to my father, he arrived in United States in 1932. He valued this car very much, because in United States he got everything he dreamed of, a job, a wife and decent living. After he passed away he left this car to me, and I consider that this car should stay in United States, because a part of me things that my father wanted to. So I want to ask you if you are thinking of selling this car to make profit, please don't email me again, and find yourself another person, I want for you to take good care of it, as my father did, and in this way I'll feel that I've pleased my father. After my father passed away I have moved from USA to Barcelona,Spain due to the fact that my wife's parents are sick and old and we need to take care of them, so along with my wife decided to buy a house here to be near her parents. The car is still in United States, more exactly in West Hollywood, CA, 90069, USA in one of FedEx deposits, crated and ready to be shipped directly to the future owner's door with FedEx Express Freight. I've already paid for shipping this car anywhere in United States. I had to pay because FedEx wouldn't let me have the car in their deposit if I didn't paid all shipping and taxes for leaving the car at their deposit. My first intention was to bring the car here, but after a little research I found out that here the car needs to have the odometer in kilometers and currently is in miles, also the car was made for US Market, not for European market and are some differences, and also for shipping the car from USA to Spain will take too much money, over US $6000(in this price are included also the necessary adjustments that I have to make in order to drive it here),money that we cannot afford right now because we invested all of our savings into this new house that we bought. I guess if I really try I will borrow some money and bring the car here, but I don't think that is the right thing to do, because this car belongs to the history of US, and I don't think that I will return there, so along with my wife decided to sell it.The car is in perfect condition, very well maintained, runs great, my father was a non smoker, I am non smoker and my wife is also, it has 69000 miles, and last oil change was at 67800. The car is registered in my name now and has a clear US title, no scratches, no damages and no hidden defects. You will receive along with this car an extra spare wheel also. I really don't know much about this car, technical data etc, in as my father did, who valued this car very much, I think that it was the third thing that he valued after his wife and me, but I can tell you that the car hasn't been stolen and my father bought it from new. Now is registered under my name in Calif, USA and looks exactly as you saw in pics, the pictures were made just before I left it at FedEx. If you would like to see more pictures please let me know and I'll send them to you.The car as I told you is crated in a FedEx deposit, it has all the paperwork necessary for you to register it in your name, it has the service book, title, all the receipts that I have from it, the receipt with the original price that my father bought this car, keys and owner's manual, all these you'll find in the glove compartment once you receive the car. Also you will find the extra spare wheel in trunk. The price that I'm selling this car is US $7000 price that includes delivery to your door. These is the total amount that you'll have to pay no other hidden fees included, beside the money fees that you'll have to pay. I don't sell this car to the highest bidder, because I don't want to sell the car to a company who will take profit from this car, I want to sell it to a person, who will take good care of it and I want that person to invest money into this car so it can remain in good shape. Regarding the payment and shipping, and thinking that the car is in a FedEx deposit, crated, and FedEx didn't managed a showroom just for the buyers to see my car,I find myself forced to find a payment and delivery method witch is fast and safe for both of us. I've found 2 solutions:

    1.
Through a third party so both will be safe and this is why I chose to be affiliated at eBay
SafeHarbor purchase vehicle department.I have with them a purchase protection account for 10,000 US.This money is for sending money to my customers in order for them to ship the product back in case they are not satisfied with my selling activity. Using a third party, you will be 100% secure that you will receive your car and you will be able to check it before I receive your money and I will be 100% secure that you'll have the money to pay for this car. If you agree with this terms of deal please send me:
The name of the future owner of this car and shipping address..?
I will send your info to SafeHarbor and they will contact you with more details about this
transaction. The transaction will be made through your bank and not through money transfer
services such as Western Union and Money Gram because as per eBay rules, is unsafe to use those methods. I will pay for their service as I've told you that there are no hidden charges. I will open the case with shipping address as anywhere in USA, and after you see their invoice, you will have to decide where you want to receive the car, at your home address or somewhere else. You won't be paying and fees and their invoice doesn't require any obligation from your part, neither before you receive the invoice and neither after you receive it.

    2.
You will deal directly to me, no third parties etc, I am a serious person, I have a family, in
order for me to sell on eBay my name and verified address in eBay's data base, but however this is not important, and in this case also you want to check the car before paying for it and I want to verify that you are a genuine buyer( I won't ask you any personal info, credit card
number, bank account etc due to the fact that eBay advise against) because I don't want to loose the other persons that are interested in buying it meaning I send you the car and you don't have money, so I propose for you to demonstrate me that you have the money and I'll send you the car.I am thinking that you can deposit the money not to my name but in your wife's name let's say.. Please don't take this as an offend, I am only trying to find a way for both of us to stay relaxed and to make a smooth deal.In this case also you will be able to check the car before I receive your money and I stay relaxed that you have the money to pay for it.

I wanted to add that you will have 10 days inspection period in any way you want including
driving it, so that you will be assured that the car is exactly how I've describe it to be in
both of the choices you have above. If you are interested in buying this car and you are
agreeing with one of these two options, please reply me your choice, in case you choose option number one please send me the details that I've requested(your full name and shipping address). I personally with go with first option because it will be more faster. Thank you very much for taking time to read my email, and I will wait your answer as soon as possible.
    Best regards,
    Durand Kones

PS: Forgot to mention, that when I left the car at FedEx I had to drain it from all fluids,
because FedEx won't ship cars with fluids in it, so the inconvenience is that you will receive
the car drained from all fluids. It won't be a problem because almost anyone who knows little
about cars can replace them. You will find the paperwork with all the fluids that have been
drained in glove compartment what type of fluids were and in what quantity. Also the shipping will take 4-7 days, depending of your location. Also when replying please reply to this email address and send your email also to DurandKones778@HotPop.com because I am having problems with my email addresses.. Thank you!

    Madcat455 Need..more... AMMO!!!

    Ohhhhh.... He's good.

If we were rating scammers, I'd have to put him at the top of the list after that email.

I'm failing to see his "angle" with option #2.. if the account was in your wifes name... how would he steel your money??

I'd email him back... choosing #2, and see what "Proof" he needs(statement, deposit slip, etc).

I'm curious as to how he'd get the money without your OK after you get the car :Do No:

    HE's good alright.

Ebay shut it down already... lol

Its a scam in more then one way, the car is a 1 dressed up like a 9. It has been floating around up for sale for the last 4-5 years from dealer to dealer. Its just a big rust bucket.......Chris
