    I love the line:
"it is so rare that General Motors don't even know how many they made"

Guess again dude. The number is 3943. :Smarty:

For an unrestored car, it looks pretty nice. But I see there are no pics of the engine or undercarriage.

At the end of last month the same car was 10900.00 I guess it aged more and became more valuable.

Nope the same phone number is listed as when I wrote it down at the end of June. It might be a nice car but I think 10 might even be a little high. The car might bring it but I would have to see that body. I have never seen a yellow 72 that has not been repainted.

Judging by the slightly lighter shade of yellow in the trunk and hood jams on this car, I'd say this one has.

Just a little thing I learned from a few years of printing. Bright reds and yellows fade and this car is way too yellow. It almost seems from the pics its the wrong shade. I would want to run a magnet over it too.

I'm going to cry...i miss mine:mad: And it had never been painted, but had primer spots. That car is way to yellow for "sunburst":spank:
Batwing steering wheel is correct for '72?:Do No:
    Red background on "350" emblem?:pp

Yep, that wheel is correct. I think even John's GS Stage 1 Sun Coupe originally had/has that wheel on it.

The red back ground is definitely not original.

Judging by the bid history and the final winning bid, I suspect that the winning bidder was a shill. $9700 for that car?
What do you bet the car shows up again pretty soon?

I was in at 8500.00 as a friend went to look at it for me. It was needing a lot of cleaning and detailing but not a bad car at all. Still looking for a car for my new Buick friend. He now had me bid on the STage 1 project on Ebay.

...me thinkx the seller is somewhat mis-informed. :spank:

    Not just mis-informed....he's a jerk.
On his first auction, I tried twice to tell him about the engine and the production numbers. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about!
