Ive got 235/60/15s all around on my 74 Apollo. The fronts will rub inner fenders during full left or right extension of the wheel. The rear appears to have room for a little more. Anyone here have an Apollo that has the maximum tire sizes (frt/rr) that will fit into the stock wheelwells without running into problems? Special offsets?. Thanks
Chumbo, I have 215/65/15 frt & 225/70/15 rr. My rear fit exactly into the shaved fender, but I don't have a stock rear diff. I did some measuring one day and think that with around a 6" (maybe 6.5") offset rim I should be able to fit a 8" wide tire with a little less than 1" clearance on each side after moving the shocks to the inside of the springs. That's a tight fit!
