My brother in Cookeville, Tennessee sent me these pics. His neighbor's mother is heading to the retirement home, and everything must go... including her 1973 Riv GS with Stage 1. She was the original owner, so I'm guessing it's pretty low mileage. Have no idea of condition or asking price, but I will post info when I find out. You can email me at heydarwin@comcast.net Sorry, these are all the pics I have of it...

More info... The car is in McMinnville, TN currently. As Proven by the attached picture, the mileage is 63416. The black paint is cracked (spider-webbed) more or less throughout, but I saw no body damage or rust. The car has been more or less sitting for several years. (i'm not sure how many). The car does run, but leaks a little water. I guess that's expected after much sitting.

This car must be pretty rare. :Do No:

What a survivor. Boattail officianados should snatch this up in a heartbeat!

How much? What are the options, etc. Sounds like a nice Riv. Is it a bucket seat car? Thanks :3gears:

As mentioned before, I have no idea of the condition, options or prices, other that what you can see from the photos. This car is not mine and is 1000 miles away. I can forward questions to the owner if you email me at heydarwin@comcast.net Thanks Ron

Update. This is all I know.

To those who have emailed or posted here, let me consolidate some responses...

As mentioned before, the car isn't mine, and it's 1000 miles away from me (I live in Colorado). I haven't seen it in person, and to my knowledge they haven't figured out a price yet (feel free to tempt them with an offer) However, if you hhave given me a phone number, I have passed it on to the owner of the car. My brother is going there this weekend and can hopefully get more pics.

They are busy cleaning out the house, so unlike us car nuts, this is not their top priority at the moment.

By brother was sitting in the car as he called, and said the engine runs great (He is NOT going to actually drive it, as it has been sitting for so long, that it would be unwise to try it). Engine has the Stage 1 thingy on the air cleaner.

Black interior is very nice, with a few minor tears on front seats and driver door panel. Shifter is on column. Power everything (sorry, I don't have a complete option list.)

Here the protectoplate info. I don't know how to interpret all of this, so if you know how, let me know what it all means. IT does tell you the original Tirm and Paint codes, but the numbers are different from the 71s, which is the only list I have.

    TR 698 67 B PNT

Also, here is the VIN if that helps authenticate it.

    Thanks Ron

    Another update

    More pics...

As you can see, it has a split bench front seat, black vynil. Back seat is very nice, front seats have some wear and tear. Armrests on the doors are also worn. Headliner and dash appear to be in good condition.

Engine bay is rather grimy, but you can see the Stage 1 decal on the air cleaner. Have no idea how old hoses and other rubber is.

Again, my apologies for the not so quick responses to your questions. Hopefully the owner will be in a position to show it and sell it soon.
