I'd love to have a set of these but the price is killing me 165.00 plus shipping for a few feet of plastic!! I may have to find a set of stainless mouldings that came on 73-73 Chevelles and 442 and use them.
That price is actually great. A nos set of plastic or stainless usually runs around 450.00-500.00.......
I'd love to have a set but I will bet they see inthe 300 dollar range before it's over. I have been looking for the stainless ones to replace my 73's and someday,I will stumble across a set...
I got a stainless set for mine and they were expensive. I decided on the stainless because they wanted just as much for the plastics. If I had seen those for only $165, I'd have grabbed them right away. I've never seen them offered for less.
I bought a set a few weeks ago from this guy and they worked great. My originals were so bad when I got the car I just took them off. I only had the driver side stainless "V" coupler so I still have to get a passenger side one. I have the passenger side in without it and it stays in ok for now. A few years ago when I started looking for a set they started around $185(and that sounded like too much) and went all they way up to near $500 lately so when I saw these I said no way am I going to miss 'em. If you're thinking about getting a set someday I'd break the piggy bank and get them.
