    Hello,
I am a new member to V8 Buick & I am excited to join this group. I just bought a good condition 1975 Electra Limited with 80,000 actual miles that is just a little rough around the edges. In 1983, when I was in high school, my parents gave me a 76 Park Avenue that we bought brand new. I cherished this car until I went to college and at that time the gas prices were too high for me too keep it :( With that being said, there are some parts that I am looking for to make some subtle changes to this car. They include:

    1.complete brushed aluminum side molding
    2.passenger side mirror
3.lower front door panels (dark red in color)
    4.dash pad- same color
5.original radio surround (someone that had the car must have sacrificed the factory radio to put in a late model delco radio) :Dou:
6.original dark red floor mats, front & rear

I have been in phone conversation with Craig G. from Minnesota & I will say that with all of the help & knowlege that he has provided that he is a valuable asset to this forum :beer

Thanks in advance for any help that you may be.

    Happy Holidays,

    will 75 work?

    Sean,

Would the parts you're needing be able to come off of a '75? If so I might be able to help you out.

I have a 76 Electra 2 door that I bought for the motor. It has only 50,000 on it but You'd guess 250,000 if you saw it. It spent alot of time under the previous owners pine tree (lots and lots of rust). It was originally silver with blue interior, but the last guy painted it the ugliest blue you can think of. He also took off the Landau roof so the trim accross the top is gone. I'll take a look later this week to see what's actually good on it. I think the aluminum moulding is intact but is icky. I'm not sure on the radio surround, but the AM/FM was working before I tried the 8 track player. Both mirrors are there but heavily pitted. The grill and header panel are intact. The hood is in good shape. PM me if you're interested maybe we'll work something out.

There aren't any quarter panel extentions. When I was driving it around I used triple expanding b-foam and used a hand saw to cut it along the body line. Then I painted it with a spray can. Looked hokey, but it served the purpose.

    park ave / limited 75-76

Hello, I have 2 parks one 75 executive one of 37, and a 76 park, a 76 duce with park interior.
The door panels are available new in molded plastic just put on the surround trim and carpet and lamp/reflector. If you can buy the blue dash uncracked buy it, dye it. Radio I have 2-3 amfm, am 8track, one running repaired 8track amfm, front speakers, rear speakers, no side trim in brush, this is a late 75, as early used the narrow 74 electra trim 1/2" wide in mid doors. Contact Rohner Auto in Wilmar MN 320 area code they have many electra with wide trim. here is a phone for me 612-702-3197, have had 12 75-76 and parted many 73,4,5,6. I have a stage 1 motor in my Modified 72 with Park Ave interior done in white leather off original 75 sewing. Red parts hard to come by., craig minneapolis

Hey Craig...do you think Rohner's would have any 75/76 Lesabre trim parts? I needed a new dash pad for my convert (blue) and ended up buying a black one in perfect condition from a Riviera...I just need to find the right blue dye.

75-76 dash same on electra lesabre

Hello, the yard is a 80 acre yard, there is one blue with a crack in center on the top of a pile, the car is an electra, have taken parts for me on this one, there are 6-7 electra 75-76 and 3-4, 1973-4, few lesabre. a crack free dash is more of value than one cracked or faded, as they will crack more when installing. Take my word for this, the flex and push to install cracks brittle dash covers, take your good dash black and prim in light color, make sure they use plastic primer, and cleaner before primer. Here is the trick, use the flex additive for "fiero" paint to the dash paint to help in the flex and heat stretch in the sun. Rohners doesnt crush old cars, only new late 80s up, so far they have stayed put in the yard, this is a 50s up yard. craig
