I have a friend looking at a 75 Skylark , my question is will suspension parts fit from a Camaro or nova, mainly sway bars and fast steering boxes.

    thanks

OK so if you were to use parts other than camaro/nova parts what would you use.
are there sway bars and springs other than factory parts .

    :)

    I think i remember from my research that the camaro/firebird suspension parts from the same vintage..ie:75-78? skylark = 75-78 camaro/firebird...are interchangeable...make sense?..lol

Buickless. i have aftermarket suspension parts that are listed for 75-79 novas, but they are they exact same part numbers for the (77-80?) camaro/firebirds. ie. tubular a-arms, bigger sway bars, coil over shocks.

In general, the front suspension stuff is second gen F-body and the rear suspension stuff is first gen F-body. Your mileage may vary.

thanks for that bit of info, my friend did not buy the car but there are a few that come up for sale here.
the F body parts make the buick a little more appealing know you can get a few things for them.
