I have been searching a hood for my 1977 Regal and I came across a '76 Buick Century. Front end are different but wasn't sure if the hood are similar to Regal. Will Century hood easily fit my Regal? If not, what should I find? Any help is appreciated. :TU:

The Century hood should fit, unless it is a 4 door.

Thanks Junkman, it was indeed a 2 door Century so it should fit. Also I just found a 1976 Buick Regal complete part car and was just wondering that if there is any difference between '76 and '77 Regal? Let me know.

The two door Buick Regal came in one body style with a "formal roof " and most all had the Landua roof option. You could order t/tops on it as well. The Century came either with the formal roof style or a sloped back roof with the longer inoperable back window. Also with the T-top option. The Regals were, well more "regal" and had plusher interiors. Buick also had the Regal S/R a sorta sportier model. Bucket seats, console, sport wheel and a few other items. I believe a few other buicks for the year had the S/R option. As far as the sheetmetal difference between the 2 door Regal and Century? The grill and header panel as they will fit either. If you get your hood to line up even and level it will be from divine intervention as every one I have seen or owned were just a little off. I bought a "new" Century in 1977 and my mom and dad bought one as well. I currently own a 1976 Pace Car replica. If you have more questions on the 76 or 77's let me know

My great aunt in Maine had a new '76 Century "Special" 2 dr. Dk. blue with white inside and the V6. She drove it until she passed away a few years ago. I saw it about 10 years ago and it still looked almost new and had about 80,000 miles on it.

Does anyone know if some one makes a reproduction of the rear spoiler that was used on the 76 pace car? Also looking for trunk mat material for my '76.

I missed out on a local Pace car replica in the summer. It had been sitting for quite a while, and it had some rust, but supposedly a rebuilt 350. It looked pretty good in the pictures he sent, but someone beat me to it. It sold for $600.00. The guy who bought it got it running and put it up for sale a month later and I think he was asking $2,000 for it. I love the wheels that were on them.

I was interested in getting a rear spoiler for my Regal. In fact, I know there is one member in here who have a '77 Regal with a spoiler and I fell in love with it. When I looked at the picture he provided, it is appeared that his spoiler isn't the one from '76 pace car. It look like it came off from 80's Monte Carlo SS. I could be wrong but I have contacted this member. I haven't heard anything from him. So if there any spoiler that can be interchanged to my '77 Regal, I would like to know about it. Why is mid 1970's Regal are difficult to find? I assumed most of them, unfortunally, ended up in the crusher... and finding a complete part car is no easy task. I thought they have made bunch of those Regal in the 70's...

Is the car you are talking about a gray Regal from Nova Scotia? I saw pictures of that on his car too and it made me want to do the same. I have seen some pace car stuff on ebay, but not a spoiler.

ewheelin- Yes that the car I was talking about. Don't you think that spoiler is a little bit too tall from '76 pace car? I know pictures don't do justice though. Anyone know who is this owner and keep in touch with him or her?

Here's a link to his Cardomain site. He does say it is off of a 76 Pace car. It looks nice on his car. He has a picture of his car on the A-Body site and I sent an email to him myself, but also received no answer. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/234457/4
