IT IS 10:39, I JUST CAME BACK FROM AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING MY 76 40K MILE ELECTRA I BOUGHT IN OCT. ON MY WAY HOME, ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF AGO, I GOT ABOUT 3 MILES FROM THE GM DEALER I WORK AT, GOING ABOUT 50 MPH IN THE LEFT LANE DOWN THE PIKE, AND ... BOOM, RIGHT IN THE RIGHT REAR, SOME LITTLE F C E " UP PUNK DRIVING A NISSAN SENTRA COULDN'T ... I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO THAT ... IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET A RT RIGHT REAR QUARTER FOR MY RIDE, WELL I CERTAINLY APPRECIATE IT. AS ALWAYS, I WANT TO RE-ITTERATE (IF THAT WAS RIGHT SPELLING) WHAT A GOD-SENT V8BUICK.COM IS FOR ALL OF US. NICE F C I " WAY TO START THE CHRISTMAS WEEK, HUH.?
? WISH ALL MUCH BETTER THAN MYSELF AT THE MOMENT...COREY
THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE I'M GOING FOR PARTS HELP-I HOPE SOMEONE CAN ASSIST. THANKS AGAIN. :beer

there are some nos ones that pop up un ebay every month or so.... the guy always puts about 300 bux for the opening bid ...they havent sold yet.

"horseautoparts" on ebay has nos quarters sometimes. he never has any pictures in his ads. you have to "request" them (which i think is total CRAP). i had him send me a pic one time os an NOS 74 fullsized header panel .. it had holes drilled in it for the stand up medallion AND for the front medallion. the holes told me it had at least been prepared to mount on a car at one time. ... i didnt want to mess with sealing the non-needed holes so i passed on it .. BUT .. if i would have just taken his word in the auction that it was "perfect NOS" i would have been pretty darn mad after paying (non-refundable)shipping and getting that molested part.

I got a front fender from "horseautoparts" for my 65 Wildcat and I was very satisfied with it. It was shipped by UPS and arrived in good shape. I was expecting trouble (as I had many damaged items by UPS) but it didn't happen this time. Now, I have to install it before it gets damaged in storage!

Why where you traveling 50 miles per hour in the left hand lane? If I read your post correct You deserve to be hit.

    Corey,

Sorry to hear of your misfortune...maybe we start a Purple Heart Medal-Recognition, for being shot in driving, so to speak. No disrespect meant to our Brave Soldiers, who have earned the Real Medal.

I have a '76 Coupe also, I'll keep an eye out for a RtRr 1/4 Panel for you.
    Merry Christmas...Paul. :3gears:

Thanks Tom. Merry Christmas to you-I won't bash the S I# out of you in commentary, but the speed limit was 50. 2 lanes each way, you know, and at points on this road there are destinations, and you can get someplace. It is kind of neat. Probably different than the magic carpet you ride to work, must be nice in "fly off the handle la-la land." By the way, tell your friend (yourself) hello for me. Love, Corey.

To the nice person who offered some advice/condolences-thankyou. :beer

ricerpunk was probably too busy watchin "fast and furious and ficticious" on the indash to notice that he was headed towards a possible deadly plastic & tin compressing confrontation with 2.5 tons of well aged american IRON.

so after the accident did you guys just toss his PsOS car in your trunk and drive to the police station to fill out the paperwork?

yeah I can talk about it now...

the adjuster came to the shop at lunch, still work in process but the initial est was about 1800.00, so that should get me back to square. The main thing is to get it fixed. Our body shop is excellent, so it will be fine. The Nissan that hit me was destroyed, hood flipped over the windshield, all the lights smashed, bumper cover in pieces, flat front tires, wasted. GOOD. Thanks again-C.

you know a good body man oughtta be able to hammer that nissan out into a rear quarter panel for the buick ................... oh thats right, :Dou: you said your electra was a 2 door not a 4 door,.... there aint quite enough metal in the nissan to make a panel that big.

    Sorry

All the roads I travel on are three lanes I never thought of the possiblity of two lanes. We have people traveling 50 all the time in the passing lane which drives me crazy. So very sorry for the post. Tom :spank:
