I have a 78 Buick Regal for sale. Has a chibby 305 4bbl, 200 metric, posi rear. Mostly original. 74k miles. I drove it daily all of last year. Runs good. In fact, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it accross the country. Everything works except cruise, has r-12 ac blows ice cold. pw, pdl, p bench seat, chrome 14" buick mags. Newer exhaust and decent tires. Original spare still in the trunk on a chrome buick mag. The bad: The rear frame rails are bad behind the wheels and the rear bumper has some holes. The rest of the body is really nice. Some of the interior plastic trim is dryrotted and missing. The paint still shines, but I'm not sure if its the original. Car is white on the outside, bright red on the inside. Included for $900 will be a brand new set of 455 motor mounts and frame pads to convert it over, a complete wiring harness, accessory brackets, new 63 amp alternator, and good frame rails. I can get pics as soon as it warms up enough to melt some of this white stuff. Any questions, you can email me at turbotimmer@hotmail.com, or call me at (724) 255-7150. Thanks for looking Tim
Almost forgot, I'll include a crossmember for a 200r4 and a good 3 core radiator in the price. Also, the car has a factory aluminum radiator support.
Heya Tim. Rumor has it there's a BBB heading your way! Cool. Anyway, if any locals buy this Regal from you, I do frame rail replacements.
I'm workin on it bud. I miss having a GS, especially when I drive by the junkyard that holds my 70 GS 455 convertible.:ball: Hey Chris, I'll post pics as soon as I can. Tim
If theres anyway you can, can you take a pic of the door bottoms on the inside and lower quarters behind the wheel.
Sorry its taking me so long. Been working alot of hours and never home in the daylight. will get em on here asap.
I've seen this car in person guys and its a decent ride. It'd be an excellent car for a 455 transplant or even something to just drive around. BTW...I might be calling you in the next few weeks or so Tim. I may be adding a few parts to my T-Type and I'm looking for (more) advice.
ive seen the car in person also, very nice. tim i may actually be interested if it is still available.dan
Still available. I also have a stick shift set up in the parts for sale forum. If someone is interested, I'll sell it all as a package deal.:3gears:
I plan on going as is Don and Melanie. Melanie reserved two rooms at the host hotel. I think Randy Gardner may be going too (he's the guy I got the T-Type from). My brother's on the fence. He wants to go to Seattle for the BCA event in July and he doesn't have enough vacation for everything. I was thinking of trailering my Skylark down, but if Randy flies into Pittsburgh we might drive the T-Type down. If I trailer the Skylark down, I'll be racing.
