I have a 1971 buick skylark post coupe with a 350 2 barrel 350 trans. Which rearend do I have 8.5 or 8.2 ? Did they put both in these cars? I was told they switched to 8.5 after 1970. Want to be sure before ordering parts.
Well it should be a 71 8.5 Look at the pics on George's site. www.Buickperformance.com. In any case you will be only ordering gears for an 8.5 as the 68-70 Buick 8.2 is not reproed.
