Anyone have or know of an 85 Skyhawk T type for sale? I had one as my first car, wow what a car! 5 speed, 1.8 liter 4 cyl. I loved that car. I wish I had a photo of it,...... Thanks, John :ball:
I took the t-type steering wheel off of a decent one yesterday at the local salvage yard. Car was in good shape, not sure why its in the yard. I can check on it if interested.
If I ended up with it,....would you give the steering wheel back to me??!!!?? p LOL! If you would like to check on it, that would be fine. Thanks, John
I would have to guess a t-type steering wheel is about the same value as the rest of the car. I did get a nice t-type wheel off of a '86 t-type Lesabre also so I could part with one of them.
Ironic,.....how it was 20 years ago today 4-11-85 that I bought that 85 Skyhawk T type!! :beer :ball: :ball: :ball: :ball:
How about an 86? I have an 86 Turbo T, originally white over grey, now 92 Honda Phantom grey metallic. Aftermarket wheels with 255/50s on them. 125K mles, runs great! Has Holset HX25 turbo, Conquest front mount IC, 2.5" exhaust, ported header, other minor mods. clear coat is peeling, has about a dozen hail dents. Bad part? Trans is slipping pretty bad in third gear--went out after I beat a high 13 sec mustang... Any interest? I can email pics. Also have an 85 Skyhawk Wagon...good tranny, needs engine work. Could make a package deal... Cars are in central OK. Jason
Not sure what year I thought it was an 87.....but I have one listed in the cars for sale ads...... Its Dark red over Gray cloth, and is complete, its a salvage yard car and Im not sure about the title but you can get one thru Broadway since its older than 89 Call me 717-749-3502 Thanks Shawn PS My first car I bought on my own was a 77 Formula Astre, I am going to Georgia to pick one up next month.....funny how we like to relive our youth .
I checked on it today, it is an 85, with a late 84 prod date, 5 speed, and he wants $700, not sure if he has a title though : (
