Ok, so I installed new KYB shocks up front, along with the '79 cutlass wagon front sway bar - new poly bar bushings and end links rounded out the upgrades. Also installed new KYB's out back with new coil springs (Moog variable rate stock height) So now, the front end sits up higher than the rear - maybe 2" or thereabouts... Maybe the new front shocks just need to settle? Geometry seems ok with the heavier sway bar and I didn't change the front springs. Any suspension guru's with thoughts?
ahhhh, as usual, ended up solving my own problem - eyeballed everything again today and seems the cutlass wagon front sway bar wasn't fitting well. Apparently there is a minor difference in the geometry that caused the front end rise when installed. Installed new poly bushings on the original bar and reinstalled it - everything's better and car sits even front to rear. ou: Well at least the rear bar was a no-brainer.
