My moms 96 Buick Century with 32K recently had some fuel related starting issues. I added a bottle of Lucas fuel system cleaner and the starting improved but now the fuel pump sings. Performance is fine except for the noise. Back in2006 before moving the fuel pump went bad and was replaced. Not long after she started to make noise but it eventually went away and there were no issues until recently. Any ideas? I can live with the noise but does it mean the pump is failing again??
