A/C Belt Guard - Clean!

I have an original A/C Belt Guard that I believe came from a 1971 Compressor.

It's been cleaned, bead blasted and is now in Black Primer.

These are somewhat hard to find . . . .

I wish they came on 1970s. Tired of having to clean off my overflow tank every month or so.

 

So, I'll ask.... I thought these guards started in '72 on the GS? Duane, Frank, Gary and many others..... when were these introduced?

I think A-body cars used a different one than big cars.

 

I have only seen that guard on '72 & up model cars.
