A/C brackets GS 455 1970

Still looking for the a/c brackets to my 1970 GS 455. I have the 835 lower and I am looking for all other parts.
Can anyone help me out?

Should have some, maybe all. Which of those is the one you have? Will look tomorrow.

 

Is the big one a 71-72 steel metal bracket? If it is,I'll let you know that from 1967 to 1970 all of those brackets were made of aluminum.But I'm sure Fred know's that.Bruno.

 

I have the big one on the left... I just read this...http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/MoreBuick455ACBracketInformation.htm and I think someone replaced the original cast aluminium lower...or not??? I have a VIN that is very high 446370H338xxx and the engine in my car have a matching number. So I don't know if my 835 lower is the right one? //B

 

If its a 70,it has to be aluminum to be original.Bruno.

You'll need Main Compressor Bracket 1231871
Top Triangular Bracket 1387136

And as the guys above mentioned for 1970 1231871 will be the Aluminum Version.


I have all the correct bolts in Kit form if needed . . . .

 

Thank you all for the information.... at this moment I know that I have the alternator adjustment arm bracket with #1387139 and the lower #835. I also have the front, rear and hose bracket.
So I need the compressor bracket #1231871 and the triangular bracket on the top # 1387136
Anyone??? Fred??
