When I bought the car a couple of years ago the system was needing some refrigerant,it cooled the car somewhat. The car sat and waited for its turn at the paintshop for some touch up work and I started driving it again back in December.I took the car a few weeks back to the shop for a leak test and a recharge. It showed the leaks from the pressure switch and the front of the compressor. The charge lasted one week even though I had the switch replaced.

Wanting to fix it,I want to order the compressor with all the required parts for the warranty,do it right and get it done. The problem is that the car's system was converted to 134a by the previous owner. .....the question is,does anyone knows of a source for the original replacement compressor that is rebuilt using the seals that will not deteriorate with the newer refrigerant?

I've looked around but can't find a comp. rebuilt that way, should I change the system back to freon?I would like to fix it once and not have to worry about it for a couple of years,I'm almost sure that the freon is an option at the shop that I'm using.

I believe a 1995 model should have had R134a in it from the factory. Decal under the hood or on the evaporator box should verify.

There would be no compatibility issues with the seals in a new compressor. The claim that R134a "eats R12 seals" is all urban legend.
It appears that gsgns4me is correct, your 95 Roadmaster would have been R134a from the factory and it uses an HD6 compressor. 1993 is the last full year that I'm seeing for the R4 compressor and R12. 1994 was a "crossover" year and could be either refrigerant with an HD6 compressor. This is from the listings at www.ackits.com.

Thanks for the reply,I figured that the refrigerant was changed because there is a non factory decal under the hood stating that the system was chrged with 134a at an independent shop and that they added the dye for leak detection at the time.Maybe they just stuck the decal there because of the dye.I'll check further.
