Anyone have a vaccum diagram for a 68 GS 400 with A/C??? I'm working on one and the a/c compressor goes and it appears to be fully charged, however no cold air blows inside. There is no valve in the heater hose and the vaccum cannister on the firewall is not hooked up, the 2 hoses coming out of the firewall are tee'd together with another line that goes to a port on the carb. My guess is that the acutator that controls whether the air goes through the evaporator or the heater core is not getting the vaccum it needs. Also, does anyone know how to access these actuators? (through glove box?) Thanks Dan
The vacuum cannister on the firewall needs to be hooked up. It should have 2 nipples, one small, one large. The large one gets the hose from the back of the carb. The small one gets the small hose coming from the heater controls. The other small line goes to the heater control valve(you need a heater control valve)
