Here a couple burn outs into 2nd gear with the Skylark. I could probably get 2nd gear to burn a little better, but am still trying to nail down the shifting from 1st gear. I don't have a downshift switch on the pedal and am shifting by hand on the column, which is not easy when the motor wants to rev so quickly in 1st gear. I'm afraid to over rev it. I'll work on getting some better videos up. The car is definitely capable of longer 2nd gear tire smoking. And it does launch pretty hard if I try that too. I'd like to get some kind of set up in the car with mounted cameras and a remote for when Im cruising around and find myself next to cars that say Hemi on the side. But then, I wouldn't want to post that stuff on the internet anyway. :grin: BUICKS ROCK!
