This was not me, my brother sent this to me in an email but I loved it a thought it might brighten someone's day with a chuckle like it did mine. I was in the McDonald's drive-thru this morning and the young lady behind me leaned on her horn because I was taking too long to place my order. Take the high road, I thought to myself. So when I got to the first window I paid for her order along with my own. The cashier must have told her what I'd done because as we moved up she leaned out her window and mouthed "Thank you", obviously embarrassed that I had repaid her rudeness with a kindness. When I got to the second window I showed both receipts and took her food too. Now she has to go back to the end of the line and start all over. Don't honk your horn at old people
this was a woman in australia, taking "revenge" on the woman behind her: LOVIN' IT Woman gets ultimate revenge on rude McDonald’s customer behind her in drive-thru – but people think it’s ‘petty’ Lydia Hawken 16 Jun 2020, 14:33 Updated: 16 Jun 2020, 14:34 AFTER 10 long weeks without McDonald's, the fast food chain is slowly starting to re-open branches across the UK. So it's understandable that on your first visit back, you might be a little overwhelmed by the menu or want to take your time deciding whether to go for a supersize pack of chicken nuggets or a classic Big Mac. For this exact reason, we can sympathise with one Australian McDonald's customer who was rudely heckled by someone behind her in the drive-thru when she was deciding on her all-important order. Posting on the Facebook group Canberra Notice Board, the woman explained: "I was in a long McDonald's drive-thru this morning and the young lady behind me honked her horn because I was taking too long to place my order. "I thought to myself, 'take the high road'. So when I paid for my food at the first window, I paid for both our orders." Sounds like a lovely gesture, right? Well, that's not quite the end of the story. "The lad at the counter must have told her what I'd done as she leaned out the window, waved and mouthed 'thank you', obviously embarrassed I had repaid her rudeness with kindness," she added. But rather than handing over the woman's breakfast, the shopper decided to drive away with both as revenge. She wrote: "When I got to the second window I showed both receipts and took her food too. "Now she has to go back to the end of the queue and start all over again..." Unsurprisingly, the exchange divided social media users - and while some thought it was a brilliant act of revenge, others argued that she was being "petty". more about this story: https://www.thesun.co.uk/fabulous/food/11875583/mcdonalds-customer-rude-drive-thru-revenge-petty/
Yep, my wife showed me one of those, supposedly from a nurse at a local hospital. She was all upset. I told her it was fake and that I had seen the exact same thing, word for word, posted numerous times, and each was from a nurse at a different hospital in a different city.
same mcdonalds story, but this was in 2019: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9748728/mcdonalds-drive-thru-revenge/
Thats funny. Find story or make it up. Insert name of friend of a friends cousins inbreed mother. And bam you are important.
The truth behind a woman’s seemingly masterful revenge plan on an impatient “young lady” in a McDonald’s drive-thru has been revealed. Hundreds marvelled at the seemingly perfectly executed revenge plan – not knowing that its latest author, a woman from Canberra, actually pinched it from a friend in Ireland years ago. She told Yahoo News Australia she shared it simply to “give people a laugh and a change from the hate and violence being spread”. “It’s been going around for years,” she said. My brother seems to get a lot of forwarded funny emails and sends them on to me. I don't know where they originate and he probably doesn't either but still, with so much sadness and unrest in the world right now, we could all use a little laugh once in a while.
That was the greatest thing I ever read don't mess with the old people right on!! might have been rude but this is how impatient people are now, get out of my way, I am important.
the woman that posted the story on facebook wasnt old she didnt post that last line about old people shows how quick a story is changing... notice how words like lad/cashier and queue/line are changed in the email in the first post: I was in the McDonald's drive-thru this morning and the young lady behind me leaned on her horn because I was taking too long to place my order. Take the high road, I thought to myself. So when I got to the first window I paid for her order along with my own.
