Monday started out at around 52*. I got 2 time trials and all I managed from them were reaction and 60' times. Looked at the previous 2 days of racing decided to dial a 6.45, it hadn't ran anything faster than a 6.44 previous, figured with the track and weather I would be safe. First round I had 1.030 in the box which equates to a .002 light:TU: but the car ran a 6.443 . Had the other dude completely covered. Oh well thats racing. I can't cry to much about that package. Yup, driving the finish line is always the last thing that is mastered, and one of the most difficult. My failure to do this cost me a Division 5 Super pro Championship, and the gold card that goes with it, back in '97... took him by just a little too much.. But being the last car eliminated in a 160 car field was not so bad either. To do it in a Buick was a lot of fun. Keep at it. JW
