The Roadmaster was immaculate and a definite "no touch car" The GSX clone was just that. If I am correct it was not even a GS. The 6th digit in the VIN was an H. It was a nice car though and really sounded bad ass and looked good too. It had a collection of 71 and 72 parts on it, but it was a 70..
That GSX clone looks like it is burnished cinnamon like my old '71 GSX clone - though it looks a bit lighter so perhaps it is bittersweet mist? What is the deal with the '71 red Skylark vert - it looks very nice!
Good show and several nice Buicks. Who could ask for more (BUICKS)? Me! p Thanks for posting! :TU: I sure like that 2 door gold Le Sabre (?) Jim
WOW! Nice cars. That Roadmaster has some good looking chrome, huh? Is that a shark nose Graham? I love the shark nose. I never seen one except in pictures.
It was not quite as nice as it looked in the pictures, but still a car I wouldn't mind having.. The clone car was painted with a Nissan color.. He told me what it was, but I don't remember..
No you don't. I figured everyone was a little tired of my stuff by now. How about if I e-mail you some and you post them??
Yep.. I thought I took a picture of the car, but I guess I was so intrigued by the supercharger I forgot..
Do you think they are these? American Racing wheels. Maybe they painted the black stripe? Its hard to see if its been inset. They look to be 17"? I like 'em! Then the next question is where do you get 17" redlines? LOVE those too.
I'll take more this weekend.. It just evolved a little more. I hope it will cool off enough for me to feel like going to the track this weekend too...
That's definitely not the same wheel.. But on a different note, there was a guy at BPG that could make any tire a redline.. THere were tons of cool things he could do with tires.. He could put polyglass white letters on drag radials..
