I am at the carpet stage and have that essex from trim parts looks good and fits very good no adhesive needed anywhere, but boy is this black essex a lint /dust collector my first question : what is the spacing of the foot pad on carpet to the relation to the gas pedal ...does it look correct or am I to close ?? 2nd question : does this flap on the pillar molding go over the carpet or under the carpet ? 3rd question : and is this overlap about average or doesn't matter ?
1. Looks about right, maybe the front piece needs to be an inch more forward to the cowl, 2.Cowl molding goes OVER the carpet, just a simple tuck with a butter knife. 3. see note one ! Did you replace the tar based sound deadener? In addition to using the (obvious) aluminum coated padding [which REALLY helps on the noise and heat !!!]
It's all jacked up. I'll save you the embarrassment and come pick up the car a dispose of it so no children or puppies are hurt. No need to thank me, it's my privilege to take one for the team.
Ok thanks...and yes I used the tar stuff over the sound deadener....maybe that's why I got a good fit
had seen it in a chevelle a few years ago and liked it ...a little bit richer looking and no I am not gonna donk it up
You betta redneckinize! I'm a camo guy, but just my shorts and an occasional camo hat. That is beyond too far.... and I consider myself a redneck. Beautiful steering wheel, however. Jim/Rott
