Hey, A few weeks late, but I though I would post some pics from SEMA of a beautiful Buick woody wagon that was there. The one thing wrong with this car - it had a big block chevy.....a TA aluminum 455 would have been perfect! Also, a really nice and affordable frame stiffening kit for A bodies coming out from Helwig. Kit should be priced between 300-400. Comes with pre-cut sections to weld into the frame and provides and improved trans cross brace and mount. Will be going on my next project:
nice pics, it always amazes me how many things i miss seeing at Sema and it was a great show again this year. i convinced my wife (shes the best) we should drive the 69 wildcat from phoenix to Vegas for Sema, cruised the strip a bunch of times, now i can take that off my bucket list. Back freezing my butt off in Canada now, -25c with the windchill today, no car cruising till spring
Cold wouldn't keep me from taking a car out for a cruise, but even the slightest hint of salt, and it stays parked.
Comment #2: Man, do I love that wagon - even tho' I suspect that it didn't start life as a wagon. It would have been better with a large Nailhead or a BBB, But I'd take it as is. I love the long roofs.
