We had great weather for the most part this year and as always a very good time.I had only a few chances to get around because of my bad knee and some selling on Saturday. Here are a couple of cars for sale, starting with my '69 Electra. The car is headed to New Jersey to what I believe to be a very good home, now I can pursue a Wildcat lead that I have had for a few months. Other cars for sale:
Eye candy More eye candy Like I said,I did not get around much and missed the AACA Show on Saturday so I wasn't able to get pics from some very nice cars that I knew were in the show field. If someone has those pictures please post them here.
Hector, Great pics, now that I have a job that does not have me working every Saturday I might actually be able to make one if these events!
oo some nice ones there! thanks for posting :beer Did you happen to see a silver mist 70 GS 455 for sale?
Yep,the '69 is gone.I've had a lead on a Wildcat for a year now,it was still a good one until about a month or so.I'm going to try and find out within the next few weeks if it is still available. All my shop room is spoken for, something had to go.If the Wildcat is sold or the seller decided to keep it,I'll have room for something else, most likely another boat. CS,the only '70 A body that I remember was a Skylark with 15" rallies and a very healthy ex note and muscular stance. The car was green and I believe that it had a green vinyl top. That car looked real nice,I wished that I had seen it later to get a pic of it.
Thanks for the pictures, Hector! It's been awhile since I've been able to go to the Auto Fair. I think I recognize a couple of the cars. The green 70 GS455 convertible looks like Tom Baker's car and the red 70 GS455 coupe looks like Bob Smith's old car. I know he sold it awhile back but I don't know the new owner's name. Mike
Thanks man, I was looking at a 70 GS 455 in NC, had an offer on it and it was accepted, then it didnt work out (long crazy story), seller did say he was bringing it to the show to sell too. Maybe he sold it before the show.
Here is mine loaded up and headed out to the AACA show there on Sat. Didn't get any pictures at the show--was too busy talking to everyone.
Does anyone know if the owner of the red '64 Wildcat convertible is a member here or their contact info? I'd like to ask them some questions about their parts/service sources. I hope mine will be that nice someday :beers2:
Good eye Mike, Calvin Henderson now owns the red '70 and Tom will be buried in the green convertible. I hope you are doing well. That is my gray turbo car that Hector posted. Take care...
