And then her husband always seems to show up!:error: I have known John for 18 years. There is not a more deserving person that could have won the Q16 last year. Wish it could have been this year also. It is also good to see Robin and her bare feet. Even if she is a yankee, she has a little bit of southern redneck in her.:TU: I look forward to seeing them each year. I wouldn't miss this for anything, not even $35 GSCA dues could stop me. I don't let the "nay sayers" stop me from coming and enjoying time with my BG friends. My vision kept me from bringing a car, but I had a friend do the driving and I enjoyed myself as usual!:TU:
Did anybody get any better shots than this of the wheel standing 68 or 69? A friend of mine has it on video! It was great to see you again Wild Bill! I enjoyed the fireworks display that someone shot off behind the News Inn! I wish I knew who it was, because when the cops came riding through I would have told them! For those that couldn't make it, try again next year. It has been 18 years in a row for me and I don't plan on missing any. Maybe I will try to schedule some vacation for the BPG event in Columbus. How hot is it gonna get! Later:TU:
Rumor was the person behind the fireworks was some guys in a green mustang, WildBill even had a partial plate number for the cops. :Brow: :beers2: Had a great time at the Nats again, meeting new buick friends and hanging out with the rest of the INGSCA gang at the News Inn. :TU:
Mike, having the sheriff as a neighbor has taught me to be observant....so when Lisa Duggan pointed out a green fastback 5.0 mustang checking our INGSCA cars out at Smokey Bones as we ate(window seats)....i took note. When that same car cruised the News Inn parking lots later....i thought.... get a plate #...these guys are up to NO GOOD ........Helping B.G.P.D. keep Bowling Green safe from Mustang owners......:TU: ray::grin: Peace Wildbill
Nice pictures Jimmy, keep 'em coming. They are excellent ! You ain't change a bit in all these years:TU: Come to the BPG....i will have plenty of COLD BEER....we will have a blast:Brow: Peace WildBill
Yeah! Those same Mustang twerps were the ones in the abandoned parking lot next door doing endless burnouts and trying to get us in trouble!   p
Nice shots Bill it was great to meet you. We had a Major League Blast it was our first trip to BG but it won't be our last. We tried to see and do everything. I got some pics over at the jumpin jimmy link below. Most of the buicks are towards the end they are friday pics. I'll get the saturday pics up asap. I did get on nice pic of that 68-69 wheel stand. Hope I have more wheelies in the saturday pics.
Thanks to Bill and Jimmy for the pics. Jeez, looking at these I see how many friends were there that I didn't even catch up with... Had a wonderful time, as usual, even without a car.
Here's a two of the cars that i really liked at this years GS Nationals. This car could FLY:eek2: :eek2: :beers2: :TU: I usually don't like graphics on cars....this one was done very nicely :kodak: And i WANT every car Ted Nagel pulls out of the Taj Ma Garage:bglasses: Peace WildBill
I really getting into "Mobile Tanning Booths" right now so seeing Lee Bacon's with the CALICO interior was an eye-opener  :beers2: Peace WildBill
Hey Wild Bill, great pictures, but there's ghost's in the background of GS Nats past and you know who they are, and they have never returned after being at the first 10 or 15, so look out, we should dig out some old time pictures to show the ghosts that may be aliens now.
Great Pic's Bill & did we all have a BLAST or what!!!!!!!!!!! :gp: You like that interior huh?:eek2: :beers2:
Great thread, Bill. It was nice to finally meet you in person. Thanks for the parts and the poster. I will see you in Columbus. :TU:
