Thanks go out to the event organizers and volunteers for all their hard work. Especially the guy running around the staging lanes with a clipboard keeping everything straight between the racers and the tower. A special thanks goes out to Ed Mucha, who after he blew a head gasket, loaned me his slicks to use after mine went totally away. Quite a few racers made this offer, just shows you what great people we get to race with. Ed's slicks where the only ones that would fit. I slipped him a 50 to help him get a new head gasket. :TU: Also I wanted to thank Tom Rix for all his help. I learned more this weekend than I have in the last 3 years! You'd think by now I would know how to do a burnout, but Tom showed me that you can always improve and had me hooking great come raceday. Thanks Tom.
Shayne, I'm glad it all worked out well for you. That was Paul with the clipboard - one of our chapter's volunteers. We had 3 others out there and all of them did their best to help with the racing.
