Pat and I went out to the smallish show in Whitelaw, Wi. (always liked that name!) at the KOC hall. That's Knights of Columbus for those not in the know. The field held about 50-75 cars and got pretty warm and sunny. The old fireball in the sky lit off and quickly got up to a blistering 72*, so we only stayed for an hour and had 38* air on the way home; FACTORY AIR that is...

The his-n-hers 1908 HD's belong to Darrel W. He's the go to guy for glass around here. Nice as can be too. BTW, that's about 200K sitting there...

So theres some neat pics for the guys here: Nailhead John Codman, and even that Mach 1 Mustang guy (!)
Next week is the Cool City Classic show. Should be a biggy!

Pat does approve of the front spoiler job too! ws

If I had $200K wrapped up in 2 motorcycles I would definitely have a more secure and substantial means to transport them. Nice Buick pictures, thanks for sharing.

    No joke!!!

A WHOPPING 72°??? You're killin me smalls! It was 92° here today, but since the humidity was low it was bad. I spent all afternoon walking around a Celtic festival. I won't know how to act with 72°...

I recognize that breather hot air tube. Used to have one just like it.

Hey BRIZ... That hot air pipe is the cats' ass! I'm gonna start making them and having them chromed or black powder coated. Best thing since the put Coke in bottles! That little trailer beats trying to maneuver an enclosed 30 footer around shows. This guy has several 4 cylinder Henderson's, an Excelsior, an ARIEl square 4, Nortons, Triumphs, and I believe a Vincent Black Shadow, and a ton of antique HD's. That's downstairs. Up in the loft theres an Auburn boat tail speedster, some model T's, a brass Overland touring car and a few 50-70's pieces that are all driven regularly. Due to his privacy, I cant divulge any more than that. Ya gotta respect that!

Hey Geoff, pat sends regards! One autumn day we're gonna show up for some upper NY State tree colors and apple picking!

If it were 92*F here, life would come to a standstill. No really; its just that we are on a peninsula into Lake Michigan and its pretty temperate, altho the dew points are often at 65+. The AC goes on in the house at 70F. Our modest 22X22 house does it with a single 10K BtU window shaker and that makes enough condensate for the flower garden in front!

Nobody mentioned the battery topper on that tri-power Poncho... Even has the spring ring battery clamps. That's a great way to throw the judges off track LOL... And of course, what would a country show be without a Rumely Oil Pull tractor? Beats looking at a mules ass tossing turds at ya all day... No GPS or AC needed !! ws

    Hey Steve...
I thought maybe you were just late, polishing your sword... I was gonna give you a shout, but didn't wanta bug ya. Kinda kept an eye out for ya too...
I think that bronze Poncho was a 62 or 63 Catalina, they all look the same to me LOL...Were they like the Chevy Impalas with the phony convertible ribs in the roof as in 1962-3 and 4s, or more like the bubble tops on the 60 & 61s? ws

Well.....heres the thing.......I promised my wife that I'd finish our lower level, (basement) BEFORE I'd start working on my new project "Alpha Lark" (64 Skylark). So......there's my motivation for working every spare moment on our basement.......to get to my Lark!!! I'm gathering parts, but the fact that it's just sitting there is killing me. The basement will be finished by fall......even if it kills me! Lol

Oh boy... youre not related to Lance at Lincoln HS in Manitowoc are ya? He's a science teacher there. He had a company come in and do a brick driveway for him, like $$$ ya know. So this guy goes out at night and shoots the driveway with a construction laser level and finds a few bricks "out of line" by maybe 1/16", so he rips up the whole driveway and is suing the paving guys (you probably know them) for a "re-do". He's still driving on sand and gravel 4 years later. He qualifies as a SAVANT.

Get the wife a tool belt and have her help out. You hafta get that flooring OUT OF THE BRIDGEPORT and into the chop saw .I'm struggling on my boat right now and refuse to hire out, except for O.J. (orange jumpsuit) my step son. Unfortunately, the HUBER law doesn't apply to recreational vehicles LOL. No one can do it as well as I can. Plus I've turned every screw, nut and bolt on that boat before... Good luck and call if you need a hand. Never ending aint it??

Right now I am using carbide burrs on a drill cutting out 30 year old fiberglass fairing and paint that's failed on aluminum welds. I'm 6 days into 1/4th of the job so far. Man I need a vacation! ws
