Ok so I finally got my GS to "hook" at the track Friday night. But in doing so I torched the clutch, it didn't sound or smell very good but it did finally hook up so I left a little wonded but with a big smile on my face. In fact it hooked so hard on my third pass that I didn't make it 60 ft with the weak clutch :Brow: So one problem fixed, weak link found and time to start upgrading the weak links. I need a little help on ordering a Center force Dual friction and I will call them but can someone help with the numbers? I have a 70 M-22 out of a big block Chevelle, so it has a fine spline input shaft. If I order the normal Buick Big block package from center force I'm guessing it will have a corse (11 spline?) disc. Am I right? Also if I remember correctly the Chevelle clutch is like 10 7/8 and the Buick is 11 so that won't work??? It's been 20 years since I put a new clutch in this car I just remember having problems. Thanks
