Buddy Ingersoll, it wasn't uncommon to see his or Larry Torre's (sp) Buick drag cars when I went in Buick Engineering every Wednesday evening for Explorers..............

 

I can't remember if this was the Snowbirds or the Gators. Most likely the Snowbirds. I was probably about 19 or 20.

 

A friend of mine bought that car from Buddy. I still remember driving to southern IL to pick it up. He raced it in comp elim. for a few years. Got pics of it around here somewhere. The paint scheme stayed the same, just changed lettering and decals.

My friend Randy owned that car for many years. He sold it a while back, after racing it re-badged as a Pontiac for contingency money.
