I realize that a date code on an 1108392 starter, reading 0 A 28 11 should be Jan. 28th, 1970... What would the "11" following the date represent??? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't really know, but my guess would be production line or plant or inspector number. I don't think the 11 would have any bearing on the value or authenticity.

Not sure that is an eleven or could be two marks for second shift. I know in some they use A or B for shift...
