The drivers quarter of my Wildcat had some work done on it, and it appears they didn’t finish buffing it out. The shop changed ownership, so I needed to solve my problem. I bought a Rupes Bigfoot 15 Mark 3 dual action polisher with the appropriate pads and polishes. I’m no pro; I’ve worked with buffers before, but never have I used something that did all the work for me. I just held it and let it do the work. The before and after photos do all the talking.
It’ll be a while. Once I polished it out, I noticed that everything around it doesn’t have the same “wet paint” look the quarter panel does. Looks like another weekend with my new toy. I have a feeling I may have created a monster, but at the end of it all, it’s gonna be beautiful.
