That "zilch1" guy has been trolling the internet for close to 10 years now, pouncing on any thread that has the words "pure" or "stock" used in it...his name is Bob something, he's an *alleged* engineer or something from Rhode Island...he used to go by 99z1le on all the web sites, because at one time he owned a '99 Camaro Z/28 with the 1LE handling package, and he believed it was the best thing since sliced bread. Last I knew, he'd moved on to a Nissan Maxima, or some other chick car...he drew all his opinions from magazine articles, as he had never had his car on a drag strip as he felt the true measurement of a car was on a road course... Anyway, myself, Casey, Donny, and I seem to remember Stefina as well, have all wasted several good minutes of our life arguing with that idiot...I have personally argued with him on no less than a 1/2 dozen sites probably. Seems like he even stirred the pot here years ago?

I never thought of it before but there are "car guys" out there that think our beloved muscle cars suck.It struck me kind of funny that's all.
The old muscle car motors aren't as efficient as the new stuff but if you can get the stock castings machined and assembled like the new production stuff they rock pretty good. Stick a roller camshaft with a thinner ring package like the new modern production engines and people think you've got a 50 pass motor that wont live. I really think people are in a mind set that a 100,000 miles oil smoking burner is the bar! !??? Jim:shock:

Isn't it funny how it is usually the goof ball who never participates or even attends an event that is always the loudest critic?? Or they usually are the ones questioning all the rules and they don't even have a car eligible for the event. ou:
I have always thought the same exact thing!!!When Brad was putting on his race,he used to tell me about all the people that were calling all the time about rules,etc.Guess what?90% of them NEVER showed up!!
