What a surprise to hear Rusty doing the track side PA. I didn't get to hear him very often, I was on the track so much. I got in close to 20 or so passes trying to dial in the Chevy II. What I did hear was terrific and from what others said, Rusty did an outstanding job. Very informative, entertaining and with just the right amount of humor. Truly a Star is born! Well done my friend. :TU:

I told Rusty he was not allowed to run anymore, just show up, eat, and announce...

he did a great job, and I didn't even have to twist his arm to agree to do it :beer

Ah shucks!!!! Your making me blush!

I would much prefer racing, but I had a great time. Could not ask for a better seat!!

First time I have ever grabbed a mic. And Friday was without tech cards. Made a few gafs along the way and I need to have a Corvette spotters guide next to me. Fortunately, I know so many of you and just a little about your cars. If I don't have my car, I will be happy to try it again.:TU:

Good job from what I heard Rusty!!!!

Of course he wouldn't turn that gig down, he got to sit in the air conditioning both days, while we got nice and red!

    Thanks Rusty! Great job.

He did an awsome job of not just announcing the cars but making staging lane/ drivers meeting announcements and even remembered to list the event sponsors numerous times. I'm afraid to say too much good about Rusty, I don't want his head to get too big.

I gotta agree, Rusty did the northern chapter of the Hillbilly Racing Team proud! He never skipped a beat, and knew enough of the backstory on each car to fill the gaps...excellent job, Rusty!

Rusty I will follow suite and say it was as good as it ever has been. Hate to lose you when you start racing again. Maybe next season Hodges can sabotage the H/O so you are forced to do it all over again.
