Guys, I'm not going to treat you like children, and start locking posts left and right. That's how other boards are run, but not this one. I have always thought it was rather silly. I give you all more credit than that.

We are trying hard not to be over senstitive about post content, but when it looks like one is going into the dumper, and has little value to the knowledge base of the board, then I or one of the moderators will caution users on extending the thread, until it (and it will) turns into an all out flamewar. If you all could express your opinions intelligently, without resorting to name calling, the thread will then be allowed to die a natural death. Everyone is invited to express their opinion on a subject, and I assume that you all have at least a high school education.. so use it! As soon as you lower yourself to name calling and personal attacks, then your just wasting your time, with an adolescent venting session. Any validity to your opinion just goes right out the window.

These posts and threads accomplish nothing but putting up divisions in what is supposed to be a tight-knit community.

When one of the moderators or I see a thread has lost it's value as educational or discussion tool, or see it taking a bad turn, we will ask that we all "move on".

We will do it in a polite way, with the understanding that we are talking to adults.

Take these suggestions SERIOUSLY. Don't force me to make up more silly rules and disciplinary policies because some of you can't take a hint.

Because I won't.. but I will take the required actions.

Thanks for your attention and co-operation in this matter.

    Well said, Jim. :TU:

Although I must add, some of us don't quite have that highschool education thing down yet- we're just good at faking it.

    Keep up the good work,

I thought all was well, I haven't seen anything that could be called a "flamewar" recently. :Do No:
