I need to change the passenger side Header gasket on my 69GS 350 W/AC.I'm wanting to know the easiest way to do this.Is it possible to unbolt the compressor with out disconnecting thany of the hoses and moving it far enough out of the way to get to the header bolts ? Thanks for the help.
Kirk,you should be able to do just that,loosen it up and move it to the side.Altough I have never worked around an A body car's engine I have worked on plenty of trucks and big cars,use some good type of cord or hd wire ties to keep it from moving and getting in the way while you work.
