Watcha using? NAPA belts and hoses are on it now; but I just disintegrated the alternator belt for no known reason.

At least I know my Idiot lights work!

Grabbed a Gates 1460 from local station and it was a much better fit than the NAPA that was on. Alternator placement was more than half inch different on bracket after install.

I thinking you will say AC/Delco or Goodyear.

    TIA

The NAPA belts are hoses are Gates. If you get the right ones they will fit perfect and last a long time.

Havent had problems with the belts "Gates" but my gas line between the tank and the line going to the line looks nice and shiny and new but is cracked all over the surface like it's twenty years old. It's actually two with probably 2000 miles. Wonder if having no tailpipes behind the mufflers could have contributed to this situation?

I just replaced both of my belts and they are Gates belts with the NAPA name on them.
