If you aren't familiar with the thread I posted about the quality of the various brands of oil filters, here it is....... http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40373&highlight=oil+filter+interesting Well, I bought a half dozen A/C oil filters b/c I heard the pf-24 that fits our beloved Buicks may becoming obsolete. Upon observing what I purchased, one is missing the drainback valve. (the one on the right) This is Quality? Look closely at the six small holes, it may be hard to see::rant:
discontinued filter? hey Joe, ever since I heard the rumor about these filters I've been checking around for the facts and as per one of the reps from AC Delco, Larry don't know the last name but agent#33 (1-800-223-3526) said that he looked into that subject and theres no info or news about the discontinuation of the PF-24. So if anyone else has any other info based on the subject I love to know so that I could stock up on supply. fernando
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa let me guess--- another gm product outsourced and manufactured in "MEXICO" :moonu: OWEN MARTIN
maybe you should call them and complain, if you get a broken/empty bottle in a case of beer they send you a coupon for a free case (know a couple people personally that this has happened to), maybe you can get some free oil filters??
