Ive been trying to get AC Delco parts for my car... being real anal about it too. Come to find out most if not all of it is made in other countries. Mexico etc.. looked at my new ac delco fuel filter today.. doesnt say ac delco on it.. says.. made in Israel. what the f&*$!! Im wondering.. whats the point of using them if its only AC Delco on the box. Anybody know of some USA made parts lines ? Same with Gates.. so dissapointed. Gary
I hear ya!! All this 'outsourcing' may increase the bottom line of US companies, BUT, I don't think these guys have a very 'big picture' of what it's doing to our country/economy. I have a little less of a problem when it's an ally (Britain, Canada, Australia, Israel, etc), but the whole thing is getting quite old already!! I fully expect to see a "Made in America" sign with Made in Taiwan or something in small print......IF it hasn't happened already!! ou:
