I am restoring the AC back into my white 75 LeSabre convertible. On the compressor hose there is foam insulation cover that is badly degraded.
Is there a place that I can buy the correct foam?
    Thanks in advance

Go to a Home Depot, Lowes, Menards...not sure what you have up there. They have long sections of black pipe insulation in different diams. Some is split, some is not. You need split, or to split it. If it's split, you will need to glue it together, the tape on it won't hold under the hood. There is stuff made from different materials, so look around for something that looks right. Done this several times om Olds, and it looks great + holds up.

The hose is of off the car so I could slip un-split insulation on it. I have checked with Home depot here but the stuff looks dark grey and not correct.
Is there an after market supplier for these. I need a hose insulator 19" long, 1&1/8th" outer diameter of the hose and a 3/8th" thickness of the insulator.
