What happens when you turn a lunatic loose ....with a "Gold Pass" good to go ANYWHERE ....issued by Legendary Rocker Joe F#*Kin' Perry Himself......and he brings his Camera ??? :Brow: :bglasses: :Brow: :eek2:  :bglasses: :Brow: Hey !!!! I gotta get into the act too......
Awesome Alan! But who was that scary looking guy in the last picture? :moonu: I saw them within the past year and loved the show, even though my seats were NOWHERE near as good as yours! How did you score that pass from Smokin' Joe???
A Buddy of mine, Mike, designs remote control model airplanes (My second hobby after Buicks). Joe bought one of his planes and called him up....told Mike "Your plane Kicks ASH !! I'd love to try the other one, but I have no time to build them. Any interest in finishing one up for me ??" So....Mike sez Sure !! Meanwhile, Mike and I are working on a brand new design .... and I put in quite a few hours setting up his flatbed Laser Cutter to cut the kits....set up his computer and get CAD and stuff talking to the cutter. Mike calls Joe to tel him the plane is ready and Joe says "Great !! Ship it to me !! BTW....Dont you live on Long Island ?? We're playing there in 2 weeks.....want me to set you up with Tickets and backstage passes ??" DUH !!!! So, Mike scrambles to get the New plane designed and builds one for Joe and calls him a few days ago and asks "Can I get you to take some Pics with my NEW plane ?? I've got one ready I want to give to you....." Joe said Sure....He'll set it all up..... Set it up ??? BOY DID HE EVER !!!!! Joe had the Tour Directer ready and waiting for whatever we wanted. Camera ?? NO PROBLEM !! Right this way, Sir......Park in the Hi Security area where only the 2 band buses, 6 limo's and 4 state troopers are allowed ?? Right this way, Sir I dont think I would have had more clout if I had an FBI Badge hanging around my neck !! I could walk anywhere i wanted...backstage...front stage....all I had to do was show this badge and the sea (of people) parted or gates were opened. Technically.....I had a seat but I didn't even go there once. It was about the coolest thing I've done.....well....aside form reelin' in Yardley and blowin' past him in the 1/4 :af: Joe said....after the first Oncore, go to the parking lot.....I'll be out through the underground tunnel in no time and we'll do the shoot right before I get on the Bus Here's the Money Shot Ohh....Funniest part of it all - 3 troopers lead the Busses and Limo's out of the lot with lights flashing .....I tell Mike "Put on your Flashers and get behind the last Limo !!" He does, and the last trooper falls in behind us. Police escort Right outta there !!! LMAO !!!
The only thing missing in these photos is picture of Yardley on the stage with Joe! "We're not worthy! We're not worthy, we're scum!" .................Wayne and Garth
Alan- That is a COOL COOL story! Truly a once in a lifetime event! So have you been cranking Aerosmith CDs every since??? Nice move with the police escort too.... I'm pretty excited about this show next wednesday. :Brow:

Alan, I have a few questions........... 1- In photo #5, Does that girl have her hand on Joe's "Johnson"? 2- In photo #14, that "Geeeeeek" makes Steven Tyler almost appear "GOOD-LOOKIN". 3- Come on now.....tell us what you really had to do to get those passes?!:moonu: :moonu: :moonu: :moonu: :moonu: :moonu: :moonu:

Thanks guys....Glad you all enjoyed the Pix. I did get some Juicy ones Ken....If possible it gets one step cooler :Brow: 1979/1980 - Jr. In high school....I attend my first ever concert - Yep - AeroSmith !! Their Chart-Topper single at the time was "Dream On" The play the whole main show - No Dream On The come back out for the Encore....everyone expects them to play it....they dont !! They come back out for a Second Encore and everyone is Screaming "DREAM ON !!!" They finish the second Oncore, Exit Stage <---, and NEVER PLAYED IT !! People were Ripping the seats out and throwing them at the stage !! Total Mayhem Now, Im not a Huge AeroSmith fan but I am a fan, and like anyone else our age they were/are a part of your life if you listen to rock EveryTime....for 25 years now, that I hear Dream On on the radio I think back to that first concert I attended.....and wonder why they never played their Biggest Hit of the day !!! Think about how many times you've heard that song over the years.....Hundreds ?? Thousands ??? thats ALOT of wondering !!! ....Well, NOW I have the Answer !!! unbelievable....only thing left to ponder is the meaning of life itself....well, that and whether Mooney is a Charter Member of HairClub for Men :moonu:
Excellent pics! Thanks for sharing those. These guys still rock after all these years. Hard to believe they didn't have a number 1 hit until "I don't want to miss a thing", and it was written by some woman. Shows how backwards the music scene can be.
"I was at an Alice Cooper thing once and 7 people were rushed to the hospital with bad vibes." Alvy Singer in Annie Hall
