Hey guys, are there any aftermarket performance parts I could
get for the nailhead in my '62 Buick. I would restore it to the original condition but I think I would rather just make it a fun
and fast crusier. Well, are there any aftermarket intakes, carbs,
and maybe some shorty headers I can get for it? Hope to hear from you soon.

Also, what is the bolt pattern of a early Buick like mine?
I know it is ether 5x4 3/4 or 5x5. Thanks.

To get the bolt pattern, measure from the bottom of one stud to the top of the stud 2 over (in other words, skip a stud).

There are cams available and TA has nailhead shorty headers that should fit your car. You'll need to have a REAL exhaust shop bend up your 2 1/2" exhaust (no more and no less!).

There were a lot of custom aluminum parts made for your car and I believe there still are... polished aluminum belly pan and rocker covers. Plenty of dual quad setups out there, but you'll pay a lot for them.

Nailheads run bud, no doubt about it. Just ask any Bonneville racer from the 50's!
